Buy fresh free range eggs and hens or even live eggs from Grimshaws Eggs ! I currently have 3 Rhode Island Red hens, 1 Light Sussex Cockerel and 3 Light Sussex hens. I have 3 young hens about that are laying a lot now and one has just gone broody! I intend in 2011 to breed Light Sussex and have just hatched only two eggs that the broody hen was on!
